The much-anticipated Dubai Watch Week 2023 has opened its doors today, promising to immerse horology enthusiasts in a five-day extravaganza showcasing the finest craftsmanship and innovation in the world of watches. Held from November 16th to 20th at The Gate, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), this sixth edition promises a memorable experience curated by global industry leaders and renowned brands.

Under the esteemed patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the event’s lineup unveils a convergence of over 60 leading watch brands, unveiling exclusive limited editions and presenting a myriad of immersive experiences, masterclasses, and insightful discussions.

The event serves as a testament to the evolution of the horological landscape, transitioning from niche and independent brands to a compelling showcase that includes major players such as Rolex and Audemars Piguet, alongside independent brands like F.P. Journe, MB&F, Urwerk, and Rexhep Rexhepi. With the event attracting names like Francois-Henry Bennahmias of Audemars Piguet and Jean Arnault of Louis Vuitton, it serves as a melting pot of expertise and innovation.

The diverse program includes immersive sessions, masterclasses, and thought-provoking discussions. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on workshops such as Audemars Piguet’s gem-setting workshop and Louis Vuitton’s miniature painting class, providing a glimpse into the intricate artistry of watchmaking.

One of the highlights is the Horology Forum, featuring panels exploring horology’s intersection with luxury automotive, artisanship, and education. Notably, the first-ever Arabic panel enriches the event’s cultural diversity.

Moreover, Christie’s returns with educational talks and complimentary watch valuations, catering to all age groups, including a special auction tailored for young visitors, nurturing the passion for horology in the next generation.

Beyond the horological displays, guests can explore exhibits showcasing the fusion of tradition and modernity, exemplified by Amadeo’s ‘Evolution of Cameo’ and the mesmerizing ‘M.A.D Gallery.’
