Marking the Seddiqi family’s foray into the world of watchmaking, the brand seeks to blend tradition and innovation
Vyntage Horology, an all-new independent watch brand, made its debut at Dubai Watch Week 2023, heralding the Seddiqi family’s foray into watchmaking. Seeking to blend tradition and innovation, Vyntage Horology promises a range that will resonate with connoisseurs and offers a unique proposition to both local aficionados and the global watch community.
“This venture is a labour of love, fuelled by our family’s dedication to horological excellence. Vyntage Horology is our commitment to preserving and enhancing our timeless legacy,” said Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, Chief Commercial Officer at Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons. “Our launch underscores our ongoing commitment to elevate the region’s status as a pinnacle of horology and luxury,” he added.
Vyntage Horology’s debut showcases two collections: Monograph and Purity. Within these, the Inner Circle models, a limited edition of 25, stand as veritable collector’s items, distinguished by their craftsmanship. The Monograph Inner Circle, a 40mm timepiece, boasts Grand Feu Enamel dials and titanium casings, adorned with camel leather straps, paying homage to the region’s rich heritage. The blue dial is inspired by the midnight desert sky and is complemented by hand-applied Breguet numerals.
Meanwhile, the Purity Inner Circle, a 39mm watch, features a unique crown placement at 4 o’clock and an off-centre seconds hand. Its white Enamel dial is graced by hand-applied Breguet numerals.
Complementing these standout models are the Monograph Light Blue and Purity Silver, each a limited-edition piece. The Monograph Light Blue, limited to 25 pieces, boasts a stainless-steel case and a brushed light blue dial with silver hand-applied Hindi numerals, powered by a Swiss-made manual winding movement with a mono-pusher chronograph.
Meanwhile, the Purity Silver, limited to 50 pieces, gets a 39mm stainless steel case, featuring silvered hand-applied Roman indexes on the brushed dial, housing a Swiss-made manual winding movement.
Vyntage Horology’s inaugural collections will grace the shelves of Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons boutique in Dubai Mall.
