The new store at Yas Mall follows the brand’s first regional store opened in Qatar earlier this year

Swiss multi-brand luxury watch store Time Vallée has opened its first boutique in the UAE at Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi. At the official opening of the boutique, Michael Guenoun, CEO of Time Vallée was joined by H.E. Massimo Baggi, Ambassador of Switzerland to the UAE and Bahrain, Paul Kupelian, Chief Commercial Officer of the brand’s partner in UAE, Trafalgar Luxury Group, and other dignitaries and prominent business figures. Time Vallée’s Abu Dhabi store will stock watches from leading brands including Baume et Mercier, Cartier, IWC, Jaeger LeCoultre, Panerai and Piaget, as well as a pre-owned watches lounge by Watchfinder. This is the brand’s second boutique in the Middle East after the one that was opened at the duty-free section of Qatar’s Hamad International Airport a few months back.
Speaking at the inauguration, Michael Guenoun said: “As we venture further within the GCC region, we are happy to showcase our newest TimeVallée boutique in Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi. We are excited to connect our esteemed guests and provide them with an unforgettable experience tailored for luxury enthusiasts in Abu Dhabi. We are confident that it will become a significant addition to the luxurious retail landscape in the United Arab Emirates.”
Meanwhile, Paul Kupelian of Trafalgar Luxury Group said the new boutique will offer a “prestigious” experience to discerning customers from the UAE and across the region. “We are pleased to celebrate the opening of TimeVallée, a worthy match to the market’s luxury demand with such a prestigious experience in the UAE, and in Yas Mall specifically, a destination for luxury seekers from all over the region,” said Kupelian.
In an exclusive interview with WatchTime Arabia earlier this year, Michael Guenoun said the brand’s pop-up store at Yas Mall last year witnessed a tremendous amount of engagement. He also observed that the luxury market in the region presents a lot of untapped potential that is yet to be developed. However, he added that expansion plans will always depend on and respect the brand equity, current distribution and clients’ needs. Headquartered in Switzerland since 2014, Time Vallée has 38 boutiques currently being operated by strategic partners across the world and aims to expand further internationally in the coming years. Trafalgar Luxury Group on the other hand was established way back in 1972 in Kuwait and has partnerships with leading international brands including Chopard, Bvlgari, Harry Winston, TAG Heuer, Dior, and Gucci among others.
